Ox is really the 2nd creature in all zodiacs. The King of Jade stated that in one story the manner to which they came at his group will be chosen. The Ox was just about to reach first, but Rat made Ox run for him. Then Rat sprung down and dropped short of Ox as they came. So, the 2nd animal had become Ox.
